Their training made them pull out tazers rather than their boom sticks.Me too.
But it stops before the kick/stamp.
Literally seconds before the armed guard is getting battered from behind.

I look forward to seeing the footage when it appears
Ok, now that makes more sense.
There is NOTHING that excuses that kick in the head and the stamp, but you can kinda see why tempers were very frayed.
The Police lost control of that and very quickly.
The initial assault on the women is outrageous and probably something I suspected we’d see when I heard what andy burnham said .So it the lad who broke the female officers nose that got a reaction.
Seeing a woman attacked by a man as if he was fighting another man would/should make any man react. The police training should have contained his justifiable anger but I can see why he reacted. Hopefully once this makes the mainstream the lad will get a stretch inside in which he can reflect upon hitting a breaking a womans nose.

Aye, the rat would be dead if it had been in the US.Their training made them pull out tazers rather than their boom sticks.
I'm pulling out my strap and playing COD if I see my mate getting leathered. The initial assault on the women is outrageous and probably something I suspected we’d see when I heard what andy burnham said .
Does it justify a stamp on the head , no I don’t think it does . Does it make it more understandable and to an extent mitigate it ? Definitely. The copper will still do well to stay out the dock but I think this would give him a chance in front of a jury , I suspect his job may well have gone but let’s see what he can say to explain what’s gone on .
I think the initial assault looks awful and should be punished , up until the kick /stamp the coppers in question had done really well to gain control unfortunately by crossing that line he’s surrendered any professional good will he’d have probably received.
Can I sympathise , yep . Understand, yep but justify it nah unless there’s some real talented explanation incoming .
Not as mad as it sounds , if he’d just stopped before the stamp the fella would be getting his hand shook at some awards dinner .I think shooting them would have been more justified than the head stamp, weirdly.
If we’re not on the police and in company I’m not letting you get a hiding . Well I’m distracting them by flailing about poorly so in the plod absolutely you get stuck in . It’s just that one half second reaction that’s totally changed the way this has all played out .I'm pulling out my strap and playing COD if I see my mate getting leathered.
Can I justify some scumbag attacking police officers and breaking a female officers nose, no chance. Throw the book at this lad who is trying to make him starting an attack on the police someone elses fault. Can I sympathise , yep . Understand, yep but justify it nah unless there’s some real talented explanation incoming .
Weird us humans with all our emotions. If we’re not on the police and in company I’m not letting you get a hiding . Like I say I think he’ll do well to say out the dock over this . If he ‘explains himself ‘ in a way they sympathise who knows but despite the new footage can’t see how he doesn’t get a charge whatever my opinion of the two initial fellas .I don't really think we should be advocating to shooting anyone.
The police lost control. I praise the female officer who thought fast and tasered the male offender which was a difficult shot given the entanglement, and he was then under control and the male officer tasered him himself. The kick is ugly and assault the stamp is unacceptable and for me attempted murder no one can say otherwise.
Did the lad(s) who started it lose control?I don't really think we should be advocating to shooting anyone.

New footage of what happened before the kick and the stamp. No one comes out of this looking good to be honest.
That video doesn't show them starting anything, and they aren't trained, paid, reviewed, and answerable for protecting society.Did the lad(s) who started it lose control?
