a journalist was murdered in north London, like an assassination type thing. he had a scoop on major corruption in the Met. it was ages ago but i only recently heard about it.
i already work there. i brought it up because we`ve been up a dead end crease without a paddle with this case for years, we`re stumped and none of us have got a fiddlers elbow about it.
thats their MO, they goad the public as they see fit to get a reaction and then its an easy pinch, whatever you are or look like they will use it
You’re going to have to give some more detail to this. If you Google journalist killed in London then you get Jill Dando. Pretty sure she wasn’t about to do an expose on the Met. If you have an actual link to the story though I’d love to read it.

that doesnt usually stop them cops from abusing anyone they want to finger. didn`t they call you a pasty-faced lard ass or belittle your choice of trainers or anything? watch the documentary about the Milk cup final when we played our neighbours and listen what the coach driver said to one of the last lads to get off the bus (by The Mons i think)
As I said, in my situation I’ve been fine. Been to Wembley a few times with Everton and never had an issue personally. But I am not defending them at all. Who could, there are countless examples of them being horrendous, corrupt bells.
The position of police officer and the chance it gives to wield authority will attract a fair number of bells. So the bigger the force the more bellends. Merseyside police back in the 70s were renowned for their casual violence. Even a good natured wrestle over the use of a small umbrella with a young lady on Dale St when you'd drunk nothing stronger than a Coca Cola could lead to a filling in at the nearby Bridewell.
