It's crazy.

An unarmed man is shot dead but the thing that makes the country stop is a 96 year old woman who lived a privileged life in a palace dying peacefully in her second biggest castle.

Just because someone is unarmed doesn't mean that they can't still be an immediate threat to life of public or police. We know that he was evading arrest driving an SUV, however there is not enough publicaly released information regarding this case yet to cast judgement on whether this was an act of misconduct by the officer concerned.

Can't say I'm surprised. I'm sure there are decent police out there, but there is clearly a culture of 'one of the boys' if you're in the police. Covering for eachother and turning a blind eye where necessary.
