Good morning all on this fine morning ,lots of stars visible last night when the cat got me up but too late to start up this thing and visit the Night sky app .I hope all are well and had a good night especially Kay and Pete . So much going on on here so a special wish that all goes well for those concerned ,especially Grandkid no 4 getting to play her part .Have a great day all COYB

Was at a table tennis tournament all day yesterday but caught the last 20 minutes on the car radio.

I'd like to thank my home town team for rescuing the football weekend.

However that result , with RS , Arsenal , Chelsea and Spurs all out and ailing United and City teams only brings into focus the opportunity missed by failing to beat Bournemouth at home on Saturday.

Time and Date website has a new interactive night sky mode that I am making much use of. All you have to do is point your phone at the sky and it tells you what celestial body you are looking at.

I must admit the game didn’t grab me as much on Saturday as a league match would. The recent relegation fear plagued seasons have just conditioned me to want to stay up at the expense of a trophy. Confident this is the last year of such worries though.

When I was little, if I was in the way of my dad watching tv he used to say - move out of the way you weren’t made in Pilks - in reference to the glass they made.

Hi all, bit of good news Jess FaceTimed to say she is allowed back to school today. I have never seen a kid so happy to be going to school. Just popped into town and saw WH Smith were selling Christmas paper reduced from 3.99 to 50p. I bought four rolls doesn’t hurt to be prepared- the early bird and all that!

Just heard Jess has been sent home from school as in their opinion her spots have not scabbed over sufficiently, She is not now allowed to do the dance show tomorrow and is inconsolable. I feel so disappointed for her. The tickets we bought are non refundable too. Oh well perhaps Everton will get a result tomorrow to cheer things up.

I'd be fighting that one if a medical professional advised she could go back. I'd ask whoever in the school made the call when they gained their medical qualifications!
Used to work a treat when I was a rep and arsey management decided to ignore Occupational Health advice - that they had asked for!
