Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good morning all. Another drizzly day here in the North East. Last nights venture into the world of organised exercise was actually fun. My co-ordination still leaves a lot to be desired but I didn't pass out and bounced around waving my glow sticks (that is not a euphemism!) for the full hour. The person who taught the class was a larger lady which I found very refreshing and inspiring. She was super fit and cheerily told us that it was her third session of the day. I've already put my name down for next week. Gym in about an hour out for an early birthday meal out tonight and off to Liverpool tomorrow.
Well done Anj! Exercise, in its many forms, is not something that appeals to everyone, but it’s absolutely clear that as we get older the enormous benefits exercise brings in helping to maintain a good quality of life .

You’re an example to us all, well done 👍

You’re absolutely right, I’ve not been to the gym for a few weeks now and I can feel the creaks and groans setting in. Time to crack on now and stop being a lazy so and so, the daft thing is I actually really enjoy it

Been a grey, drizzly, miserable day here but I noticed these in the churchyard this afternoon- a sign that Spring is on the way.

On a wet , miserable day up here I went for a short run , then had a wander around the back garden to see if the snowdrops from last year were appearing . Nope. But there was a solitary sign of spring in one appearing further away.
