Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Right, so here we go.

Do you remember I was going to ask my neighbours son, Peter, around for drinks and something to eat when the rest of his family headed off to Southampton to their boat. Well I had it in my head that it would be tomorrow or maybe Sunday, and I intended to cook the food I had tonight because I knew he liked Chinese. He's a chip off the old block when it comes to fussy eating. Anyway I phoned him this afternoon to ask him around, and whilst he said he'd love to, he also said he'd have to consult his dairy to see when he was free. I mean, this is the guy that rarely leaves his house and by all account spends 99% of his time in front of his computer screen. lol Anyway he rext me earlier to say Tuesday would be good for him.

So some of this stuff needed eating this weekend, so I decided to cook it tonight. I was intending to have a ready made lasagna that just needed bunging in the oven for half an hour. I'll have that tomorrow or Sunday instead. I've decided to cook a Thai curry on Tuesday and he seemed happy with this so happy days.

It's been a bit overcast today but tomorrow the forecast is good so I'd rather be out walking or sitting on a beach than stuck in a kitchen over a stove.
Any excuse to cook some delicious food for yourself ;)

I'm greatly concerned that the wine appears untouched
Untouched? I assumed he had already refill the glass lol
I'd have been more concerned had I finished the whole glass in 10 minutes. lol

Have a closer look Jazz. I've probably drank about a third of it, maybe a touch less. And as you know, a good wine needs to be savoured, not glugged.;)

I’ve just glugged my first glass of Prosecco in 10 minutes and I’m not at all concerned ? but it is not red so it doesn’t need all the savoring and ritual of a good bottle of wine.
