Good morning all on this fine day ,a bit on the cooler side but sunny . I hope all are well and had a wonderful restful night .I am starting to itch now with the extra place given to English clubs in the Champions league .My word it will be some summer for Moyes if we get there ,I know we all fear the worst against them but they are only three points ahead of us so two wins in the next two games would be a real gamechanger .Sorry need to calm down ... I have just read the Sky report on the extra place and was shocked at the bias for the top teams ,for future participation ,the points awarded for the current season going forward to qualification for the next one .Basically if you are in the CL it is much easier to stay in.

Morning all, another lovely day in the forecast. Day hasn’t got off to a good start here. Standing at the sink washing up and gazing out the window I noticed a large rat sunning itself on the lawn before scurrying through the hedge into next doors garden and returning with a large chunk of bread obviously put out for the the birds. It did this several times and is now resting under our summerhouse, probably with several of its relatives, gorging on the best part of an entire loaf. Mr G. is now on pest control duties for the morning while I’m off out visiting my friend.

A lovely mild evening here and I am off to the cathedral city to enjoy the best of what Armagh and Tyrone U20s have to offer. A perfect pre cursor to the Senior game on Sunday which is a complete sell out. Thank goodness the Everton game is on Saturday this week and I can get to enjoy both games.
Not sure how to feel about PSG tonight. While I of course want a heavy defeat for the RS as standard, it worries me that Slot may not be there for the Derby. Still, how wonderful it is to have this kind of football worry compared to the misery of recent years.
