Ah those were the days, I remember an Easter egg in a noddy cup. But I loved the boxed ones best as I used to tie the empty boxes all together and put my plastic animals in them and pretend I was transporting farm/zoo animals as appropriate

Tonight should have been Ireland v Denmark in a real party atmosphere. Instead it’s Ireland v North Macedonia with a pot of tea.

Coleman did very well last night again but I think that is him likely retired from International football now. He was emotional during the anthem and had his 3 youngsters on the pitch with him as mascots.

A funny mid game anecdote for you all. Coleman was taking a throw in and disappointed by lack of movement he bellowed out ‘hey, F’ing liven up!

A moments silence then the RTE commentator quipped ‘those pitch side microphones certainly work anyway’

Watching the Artemis 2 rocket last night made me feel very small. We really are just a little blue dot in a vast universe. I found myself thinking today that if people were reminded of our overall insignificance as a species in the grander scheme, then we might just be a bit nicer to each other. With this deep thinking you can tell I am looking forward to a couple of days off

I got a letter from the government saying that they’d paid me £100 for winter fuel, but as my pensions are all quite decent they would be taking it back over the course of the year. Now I don’t mind paying tax and I’ve paid an awful lot over the years and didn’t want any fuel allowance. But what really annoys the life out of me, is one civil servant and their trusty computer paying this into my bank, while another HMRC civil servant and their trusty computer is adjusting my tax codes so they can take it back. A complete and utter waste of time and money. I’d love to meet the idiot responsible for coming up with this stupid policy. Rant over…..

Here I am trying for the umpteenth time to rejuvenate my karaoke ,you will remember I bought a second machine to swap the disc player well that didn't work !
So now I am trying to find a cd/dvd player that actually will play cd-g format so I can back up all my songs (around 4000) onto this mac .This mac is a wonderful machine, Apple in their infinite wisdom decided that they could do away with the venerable sockets and make everything wireless .Which in my world is a tragedy as most of the things I have are old and were produced when Adam was a lad .
Anyway it keeps me busy as my newfound vigour for cutting up wood has left me doubled up in pain ! Oh to be young again .

Good morning all on this muggy one here ,I hope all are wel and had a good noght's restful slumber . I have resorted to watching videos of the Newcastle and Chelsea games on a loop . I have been reading a lot about Jack staying and the fee they would/might have to pay .For me he slows us down too much and the money would be spent better on younger players with a value after their comntract runs down ,he would be worth zilch after a couple of years ,if he can make it that far .
