Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

As everyone is saying a pool is this best place for you ,do you have one local ? Do you throw water on the stones in the sauna ? They never did when I was in the UK ? I think these doctor phone calls give you more stress ,trying to remember what you want to ask and then trying to glean the info they give . Stay strong that man .
Yes , ive now got one of those monthly memberships for the pool/ sauna/ gym , sometimes it’s just sauna where I’ll always add water to the stones. I’ve gone from “ aqua running” up and down the pool with a floatation vest a few weeks ago to now being able to gently breast stroke a length of the pool . Quite an achievement for me! The Master Plan is to get back running , first stage has been completed a slow run/walk parkrun which is 3.1 miles. I was awake in the middle of the night just being annoyed about the Consultant who had no real interest in me. But , heh, there are people with far bigger issues than me.

I have done both Pilates and yoga over the years blue through football but not in recent years. Top level Gaelic teams follow that path and it became all the rage for a while.
I now have a regular Friday morning Pilates class, I’m the oldest by maybe 10 years, the only male of 10 but I’m concentrating too ferociously on the moves to worry about anybody else. They’re all fine , we speak about weather, garden etc - these Pilatarians are just like normal people 🙂

I used to go line dancing and the next class was pilates ,I wanted to try but the boss said no ,no idea why as I was one of only two men .

Come on, be honest, you’re just looking at the women….

Good morning all on this fine day ,I hope all are well and have a good day .Some great results in Europe for English football ! Not much happening today as we expect high winds .
Have a great day all COYB.
A wind chill of -5° here this morning but it is dry at least so far. St Paddy’s Day is normally freezing so this recent chill is all to be expected.

Fun fact, Armagh is the only city in the world to have two cathedrals named after St Patrick.

Morning all, bit parky here this morning but at least the wind has eased a bit. We are off to a funeral this afternoon, my cousin’s wife. She was diagnosed with cancer last Christmas Eve so she passed away quite quickly. It would have been her birthday last Tuesday and she and my cousin were due to celebrate their golden wedding in a few weeks, very sad.
Have a good day, all💙

Tis true, I’ve often got my head 3 inches off the floor , back aching, muscles groaning squinting at the woman 12 feet away, trying to figure out why my leg is going up and down when everybody else’s is going from side to side 😳
If you’re like me, that’s the moment you wonder if anyone else heard the grinding noise your spine just emitted.

Croke Park for me tomorrow in what is effectively a relegation decider. No matter how many times I have been there, I am still buzzing to be getting down again. Pretty sure I become somewhat feral at the sight of an Orange jersey in HQ. Something so special seeing your own county in the national stadium.

Been through a stressful time recently and looking forward to a proper blow out in Dublin.

(Will be in bed for 10pm)
