Good morning all on this fine day ,I hope all slept well after the excitement of yesterday .
Well what a day both us and Senegal winning ,I hoped they would beat Morocco after us losing the lads for so long .What a display from the boys in blue ? Jimmy Garner won the game with a performance that must have registered with Tuchel ,it is hard to remember him doing anything wrong ,Harrison was really good and a mention to Patto ,in fact the whole team were on form with Dwight providing the pass for the goal and what a boost that should be for Barry ,a real goalscorers touch .

Morning all. Yesterday was a super day, we went to watch Hamnet at the cinema early and it is a wonderful film. It’s quite slow to start off with. , taking some time to get going but very atmospheric and well shot. The last 20 mins or so raises it up completely. I missed the first 15 mins of the game, which I’d recorded, caught up at half time, and of course an equally uplifting , if a bit more tense, finale !

Evening all, just checking in from the Titanic Hotel - we got a tour of the stadium for Christmas so we’ve decided to make a night of it. Our tour is tomorrow afternoon and it will close a chapter for me having attended the consultation events at St Luke’s and here at the Titanic it will be great to see the behind the scenes stuff as well as the match day experience. I’m really looking forward to it. Of course a little shopping today - it had to be done.
Still amazed at yesterday’s result and to say that it’s Harrison Armstrong’s 19th birthday today is unbelievable- a star of the future as well as now . COYBs

Hello all. Having had the little guy for two sleepovers while Mummy was on late shifts, Mr F and I are chilling and very much looking forward to going to bed! Frankie is no bother but he still wakes up for a bottle during the night. Babies are a young person's game!
In other news I went to Costco and actually bought sensible stuff instead of the random things I usually buy. My bargains today included 10 litres of AdBlue, lots of AA batteries and 40 loo rolls.
Ive also been swimming so I feel like I've had a very productive day.
I've met quite a few trans women during my time as an equality rep. I can honestly say I have never ever felt threatened or uncomfortable in their presence. I've been to the loo with them during breaks in meetings or at social occasions and it never even crossed my mind that they shouldn't be there.I'm sad about the current attitude towards the trans community- they are far more likely to be victims than perpetrators of crime. Also, what about trans men? As biological women they would have to use female facilities but they look like blokes. How would the people who made the complaints feel about that? And, who polices it? Will cis females have to prove who they are biologically? It is so complex.

Ever since AT mentioned the ISS passing over I have constantly been looking at the night sky but it is probably 80% cloudy nights here .Add to that the the ISS doesn't pass over so often it means I haven't had a glimpse .

If you see a slightly lighter/ greener night sky try looking at it through your phone camera, it enhances the colours considerably.

A couple of years back the ISS flew over our area on Christmas Eve. Luckily it was visible as the skies were clear. We watched with two youngest grandkids as “Father Christmas” sped across the sky. Judging by the shouts and screams I think the whole of Peterborough was out that night, it was truly magical.

We’ve had a brilliant afternoon on the stadium tour - highly recommended. It was brilliant to see the changing rooms, the media office, to walk along the tunnel with Z cars playing and sit on Moyes’ seat in the dugout. No wonder it’s won awards.
