Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

The railway station is about .5 miles away and it's quite reassuring to sometimes hear the trains gently coming into and out of the station. They only run every hour and a half and not on Sundays and Bank holidays so it was a shock to hear one yesterday!

@peteblue I hope that you have a wonderful day today mate - Happ birthday. Can't trump G's greeting card.

Yet another midnight false fall alarm with mum yesterday. Went over to find her fully dressed. Why? She replied "Well you told me to get up". Got her back into bed thinking - you're nuts and went back to bed myself. Couldn't sleep and think I've worked it out. She probably activated the alarm in her sleep and the responder thinking that she had fallen perhaps spoke to her through the pendant saying "can you get up " I dunno?

What I do know is that I'm knackered, don't know how you cope Pete .

Mrs J at the rescue shop today so when I can be arsed getting up I will have to feed all the animals , pick up the pieces with mum and then find the energy and motivation to go to the gym.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Sorry to hear about your mum Jazzy. A friend of mine put cameras up in her aged fathers home to give additional reassurance. I truly feel for both you and your mum…..

Happy birthday @peteblue .

Good morning all on this wet day here . Nothing much happening here as we wait for Spring to finally arrive ,the birds and flowers say it is ,a month too soon but the weather is making us wait .
As most know we live in the middle of nowwhere but at this time of year the roads are lined with twitchers from far and wide ,the land is flat for miles around which makes the small streams overflow when the snow melts or we have a lot of rain ,making puddles and ponds for the birds to rest and feed .last year we had a vagrant duck from the US ,we are waiting to hear if there is anything unusual this time .
It is nice to be sure of prem football next year even tho' we have thought so for a few weeks . Now they can plan properly I hope Kevin leaves his thoughts behind leaving one or two gems of signings ,I don't know much about the Leeds guy coming in so I will reserve judgement for now . I do know that if we don't sell the Pickfords and Branthwaites we are going to be full of old semi retirees. Have a great day all .
@jazzy ,perhaps some camera with a baby listening device / intercom feature .

Morning all, in solidarity with @blue1948 we also have a wet morning. Schools went back yesterday so early starts again as we are back on the school run. This is the last term as Harry will be leaving school in July and going on to college, subject to results of course. He’s never really been settled at the school, those with long memories may recall his issues with bullying etc, so sixth form is not for him. Hopefully he will be happier in a college environment.
Hope you had a better night with Grannie @jazzy. @anjelikaferrett another exciting day ahead, hope everything goes well for Charlotte and the baby.
Have a good day, all.💙
