So easy to spend time in online spaces like this and interact with other users, while almost forgetting that those users have lives and that those lives don’t last forever.
Barely interacted with Karl or @roydo directly on here but the terrible news in both instances about these lovely fellas’ passing hit me like a ton of bricks.
I’m not on here as much as I used to be, and that goes double for this thread, but I feel like this is an opportune time to offer you all my thanks for putting a smile on my face on the occasions I do pop in. Simple, little things like Finnish weather updates, beer sampling, cooking adventures, family updates, etc. My life is better for having met you all on here, and I wish you all the very best every day in yours.

This is hitting pretty hard tbh. Cal and Nikki passed within 10 days of each other and we sort of bonded over that knowing what each other was going through. He found it a lot more difficult than me to adjust and always wore his heart on his sleeve where Nikki was concerned. He's reunited with her now which is where I think he wanted to be. RIP Mark.
