Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Utilita don't have standing charges thankfully. My DD is £87 and I've been under it last couple of months on the smart meter but my last bill says it was a£107 I thought smart meters were for the purpose of being able to control your energy usage, it's no good if it's wrong. They didn't ask for the extra though strangely.

@blue1948 which video did you watch? I'm sure you were headbanging to it lol lol because my head is so chaotic I actually find Slipknot cathartic and you get used to the heavy sound after a bit.
This ,I was before the headbanging thing soul music and the Stones was my kind of music

So anyway, had a call with the doctor today to discuss my blood test results from December. He said I had increased liver enzyme levels. I said that’ll be because I drink too much. Anyway, he advised me that I was only allowed 14 units. I am now sat in The Brick having had them and wondering if I should chance a couple more…
Is that per day ? You should be fine :)

As an aside and judging that the average age of this thread is probs above 50, the fact that in Walton, Liverpool it has taken 2 months just to get a doctors telephone call consultation is pathetic. I have had one face to face last year and it took in excess of 300 calls to the surgery to get an appointment. To be fair I got a same day call back. The person who sorted that for me arranged one for herself a month ago. Had her personal and works phone on re-dial, over 430 calls. I was with the nurse in the medical centre doing BP and she advised me to consult the doc re blood tests. I asked if I could make an appointment for a week or two but was told I had to ring or queue on the day. The only reason I got a call was because I submitted home BP results. Would still be waiting otherwise. Rant over. 3 points tomorrow
That’s terrible. I live in Walton too, not that one though. Like @Val P we put in a request online. We get either a consultation online or an appointment at the surgery, although last week daughter requested an appointment for one of her daughters and was referred to the pharmacist, who decided he wasn’t qualified to deal with it and referred her back to the GP!

I suppose a really heavy trailer is one way of discovering them blue lol They can and do do slower songs as well but mainly they're pretty heavy. I think a few on here had a listen to some songs off the new album last year and liked them believe it or not, slower ones though and with a choir in some songs.

Morning guys hope you're all good. have a lovely day.

Only 49 thanks lol 50 in June; doesn't sound right that I can't be that old.

Dr are a nightmare where ever you are, just about all surgeries ask you to phone in the morning at 8 for "emergency appointments" which they release on the day, the NHS is very broken. I am currently in month 22 of awaiting an appointment to see a specialist rheumatology Dr, it's absolutely disgusting and due to strikes it'll be pushed back further no doubt.

It was the pharmacist calling me re my BP meds gave me the opportunity to get a call with the doc logged in.

In Scotland we’ve had online description of problems with Dr phoning back , pharmacists doing prescription plus other things for any years. The system works well , just that the NHS is underfunded and queues occur like elsewhere. My BP meds worked in reverse to yours, appointment with Dr and we agreed a change, wasn’t working after 3 weeks, phone appointment with pharmacist and we changed again, follow up with pharmacist in 2 weeks. Both discussions with Dr and pharmacist have worked well for me.
