Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Hello everybody. Hope all those who have been poorly are feeling better and much love to Mrs @peteblue and @Armaghtoffee 's Mum.
Arrived home an hour ago. Had a really lovely time and would definitely do it again. I've loved the Italian vibe on the ship and the food was gorgeous. Italians are the noisiest people in the world, they have no concept of quiet. I !ove them.
Last night's dinner featured stewed pea sauce, otherwise known as mushy peas! Very beautifully pureed and presented but still mushy peas.I was in heaven?
Back to work on Thursday so two days to clear the washing.

Thanks Anj. Another positive day here thank goodness.

Sounds like you had a ball ?

Good morning all on this autumnal day here in Finland ,lovely to hear @Armaghtoffee 's mum is doing well ,welcome back @anjelikaferrett some lovely photos ,nice to hear Mrs J is battling the bug @jazzy and mrs P @peteblue is standing strong and congrats on a hopefully festive thanksgiving @Ducans elbow
Have a great day all ,I am processing more tomatoes from our neighbour making Green Tomato relish by the bucket load ,whilst the missus get a short back and sides as we have guests on Friday .COYB

Morning everyone.
Delighted that @anjelikaferrett is back safe and sound after a great holiday.
Mrs J is still suffering from the dreaded lurgy but definitely getting better.
Been chaotic in the Jazzy household yesterday and will be for the next 3 days. Mrs Js sister has gone to Oban for a break ( as well as running the animal charity she cares for her husband who had a serious stroke 12 months ago) so we are looking after her pooch Susie. It's very confusing with our cat also called Susie.
Anyway Susie the pooch is lovely super well behaved . If I'm being honest she's a bit too docile. Tintin is great with her ( he's so laid back ) but young Rosie just wants to play with her and Susie the pooch doesn't play!
So, did a full day's gardening yesterday spreading bark chippings as a mulch in the new Arboretum, looks good and well worth the effort.
Off to the gym this morning and then going to tackle a huge viburnum bush that needs to be moved.
Have a lovely day everyone.

I mentioned a few weeks ago about a redsh---friend who had skin cancer ,brothers who had died from but still didn't get a prostrate test -well he has cancer and they will operate .Please guys do the test every year .Anyway we spoke yesterday and he who watches every match decared he didn't watch the City game because "That Haaland is rubbish " "He has scored twenty goals but only touched the ball 22 times " Oh to be as disiillusioned or have to suffer a player like Haaland .

That’s sad news but great advice. I can only speak from experience of smear tests, mammograms etc. but a few moments indignity could save your life. Best wishes for a good outcome, hope they have caught it in time.?

Interesting point about prostate cancer. I asked for a test as part of my well person and the response was we don't do a PSA test without other symptoms.

I have had a blood test for the last 15 years at least as my B-I-L was a doctor and it is done when they take the cholesterol ones .I would insist as surely it is a gamble if you have to have symptoms first !

Morning all, another lovely day. Mr G. has been persuaded (for the time being) that painting the kitchen units can wait and has moved on to the front bedroom, creating yet another opportunity to de-clutter. My morning will be spent sorting out the stuff from the bottom of the wardrobe and blanket box which stored no blankets but ten jigsaws, collection of old newspapers and guide books. Sounds like a busy few days @jazzy, Hope Mrs J’s sister has a good break, sounds as though she deserves one. Pleased Mrs J. is on the mend too. @blue1948 green tomato chutney takes me back to my childhood, my Nan preserved everything . Her pantry was stacked from floor to ceiling with jars of chutney, pickled eggs, samphire, onions etc.
Have a good day all.?

The copy is from 2008 and we beat them 2-0 that season as well!
Hello mate, just booking back on after a couple of weeks away on holiday and keeping a low profile.
Will catch up with the back log in the next week or so, noticed you're mum hasn't been keeping well, may your more positive news regarding her today continue mate.
