Your complaints about leaf collection fall on deaf ears here Fred. With the trees that we have and combined with those from the adjoining NT property it is literally a full time job throughout the whole of November. I hate it!Absolutely beautiful day down here today. In fact I've got my shorts on again. Just been up to the local shop for some posh sausages for my lunch. Had a chat to one of the neighbours I don't often see who was sweeping up leaves outside her flat. Thankless task down here and they haven't really started falling yet. I try and do mine in two stages and I only have one deciduous tree overhanging my back. Others have 2 or 3 (or more in Rob's case as he has the end house which is surrounded by woodland on almost 3 sides). It's a private road too so they are also responsible for keeping that clean and tidy. They take that responsibility seriously in fairness to them.
Nipping out after lunch to go and see Nikki (Cals old work mate) at the NT cottage on the edge of the village. Haven't seen her since July when we went swimming in the Helford together down at Durgan. Looking forward to seeing her as lot's to catch up on and it's a lovely day for a walk. So just about to do my ITV 7, Sky Super 6, fantasy football and my race betting before lunch.

They say now we have so little resistance to the common cold because of covid ,wish the lovely wife a speedy recovery and a less runny nose .

I use my lawnmower to gather the leaves ,surely you do too. It is so satisfying to look back where you have "mowed" ,a bit like ironing where you see the fruits of your labour immediately .
I did our lawm yesterday and today it is as bad but obviously half as many leaves as there would have been .I am hoping to reclaim a piece of garden that is next to the road and grass it over so I have been dumping the leaves there in the hope 1/ they stay and 2/they mix with whatever is below ground now to create the perfect loam -fat chance here in the forest but one must give one's best .

Avocado is one of the only foods I just can’t warm too. Would love those prawns though.
