Morning everyone.

Lovely dry sunny but cold morning.

Mrs J has woken with a heavy cold , at least I hope its that.

So perfect weather after heavy rain yesterday and same forecast for tomorrow to start moving some plants around in the garden and I will start with some Rhododendrons.

Big game on Sunday. Let's hope that United play a few of their 1st team tonight and are knackered when they play us. Genuinely think that it's a good chance to pick up another 3 points.

Talk of energy shortages over the winter , a war in eastern Europe , multiple strikes and one month old prime ministerial reign being cut short. I don't think there has ever been such a turbulent time in recent memory.

Weather is the same here, forecast is good with a temp of 18 degrees this afternoon.

There seem to be a lot of heavy colds about at the moment. My friend and her family have all had a really bad one over the last two weeks. Best wishes to Mrs J. Hope she is feeling much better soon. ?

Morning, suns just come out, sat waiting for my shopping to be delivered, better bloody had anyway.

Just seen a body been carried out from across the road, no ambulance just 2 guys in suits with a gurney so not sure what that means, must've died overnight. Get a lot of that around here as lots of old folk but them are a fairly middle aged family and it isn't the son as he's there.
Sorry a bit morbid that.

Hope you all have a good day, I've just got some olbas oil for my sinuses, went to the chemist as online it said open at 8 and it was shut til 8.30 so had to get it from co-op and some menthol sweets.

Stuff like that doesn't bother me mate but thankyou. We all pass at some point, it's obviously hard for those involved especially if it was unexpected. I I have esoteric views on such stuff so I don't let it effect me.

A belated good morning all on this showery day here in Finland +1 when we woke today so lucky to get the heating back on yesterday .It was the outside temperature sensor !
Oh for the days when you went out for a bucket of slack ripped up the echo and all was good . Well as you all know it wasn't ,we sat around the fire and our backs were freezing cold ,there was a draught from any door or window and the windows froze on the inside .Good memory is selective to say the least .
I hope all slept well and have a great day today .
I don't know what to make of the rumours around ownership but the new ground is coming on a treat ,it brings tears to my eyes .
We should all thank Dan Meis for his input ,the reds are so jealous now ,they will have spit every dummy in the UK out when it opens .COYB

Neighbour's just called. hey are going in to Falmouth (probably to pick up their free coffees) ad have asked if want to join them to do a shop. There's a Tesco metro in the town. t doesnlt have enough to do a full shop but I can get enough to tide me over for a week. Need some stuff for my mussels dish later.

Then we're taking the dogs for a walk from Gilly beach to Swanpool. It's not far, nt even a mile really. But it's a lovely day so quite fancy it. Great views of the castle too. Must rush. Picking me up in 3 minutes and I haven't cleaned my teeth yet. lol

Listened to the new Slipknot album in the gym this morning @Terrarian

I see what you mean about it not being as heavy as previous outings. Still quite a lot of that gothic kind of influence from WANYK (steady on @Barnfred 55), and a couple of obvious bangers - big fan of H377 on first listen.

It's a sleeper but I think after a few listens I might well dig it.

Hello everybody. Greetings from sunny Sicily. Had a tour of Palermo this morning. Not the prettiest place I've ever been to but still nice. Went to the church of Santa Rosalia- patron Saint of Palmero. My mother would never have forgiven me had I not! The church is inside a cave.
