Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I thin
I think it is but I've got nothing to compare it with. The food is excellent, loads of variety and it is very very informal. Most of the passengers are Italian, have heard some other European languages and actually met two women from Torquay today. We paid a total of £1500 for 8 days including a drinks package and a cabin with a balcony. Seems like a decent deal.

Sounds like a very decent deal….enjoy….

Good morning all on this very dark morning here in Hyvinkää.I hope all slept well and have a great day .I have been busy making three sets of stable doors for our new neighbours horses ,well one is donkey and 31 years old . They weigh a ton but there are two of us hanging them so not too bad .I do however feel my age when I work hard now and it takes days to recover . We have a service on the earth warming system and hopefully I will be shown how the computer part works as there are so many settings .Back later as the words are calling . Have a great day all.
We’ve seen two , more tests to be done….
Best wishes from me too.

Morning all, bright and breezy here, that’s the weather not me. lol Off to see my friend this morning for our weekly natter. The cupboard upcycling is going so well that Mr. G. is threatening to re-do the whole kitchen, I don’t think this is a good idea. He clearly has too much time on his hands, anyone need any odd jobs doing? He’s house trained and just needs a good supply of tea and biscuits.lol Have a good day all.?

Morning guy hope you're all good. Anyone want to swap noses, cannot get rid of these stuffed sinuses, getting a spray with my shopping tomorrow, I'd just finished the old one before this started. Seems to be just when I lie down, very odd.

Raining again but the temperatures aren't freezing so thankfully don't have to line the gas companies pockets yet.

Looks like you're enjoying yourself @anjelikaferrett and thanks again for the WSAG @Armaghtoffee Hope the clock shuts up for you soon @jazzy lol and @Barnfred 55 I forgot to ask how the dodgy chicken and dodgy cockles were, did you escape food poisoning? Hoping you get good news on the wife @peteblue @blue1948 good on you doing those doors, do you have a wood lathe?

I'm thinking of getting a couple of pieces of equipment suggested by @Vegas Toffee Girl for my back and neck, see if they help, will have to see how the finances are first.

have a good day everyone.

yep sounds very reasonable.

what's the entertainment like ? and don't reference Mr F on karoake
There's quizzes. We went to a ' circus' last night I.e one man juggling and doing shadow puppets. It was absolutel crap but unintentionally hilarious. Then we went to a silent disco which was bizarre. A long winded way of saying a bit naff!

No food poisoning mate. I cooked the cockles, tasted one and quickly realised that they wouldn't go well with a chicken curry. I had it in my head that they were a bit like clams, but they were a lot more fishy. So I doused them in vinegar, stuck them in the fridge and had them the next day as a mid afternoon snack. Very nice. Reminded me of the early 80s when the Super Cockle guy used to come round the pubs and clubs selling seafood. Whatever happened to them. lol

The chicken was only one day past it's use by date so it was fine. I made a chicken madras and had it with microwaved pilau rice. I'm having the other half of the rice tonight with some chicken satay kebabs, humus and flat bread.

Peeing down here too so may have an afternoon in front of the TV watching a selection of series. I have about a dozen on the go at the moment and it's difficult keeping on top of them all. Just changed the water on my mussels. Tomorrow I'll clean them up and cook them Thai style. Need to pick up some garlic and fresh coriander from the local shop, together with some nice local bread to dip in the soup. Salivating already at the thought..

We still get them down here from time to time, including the people selling fish/meat that turn up on your doorstep, all local stuff but it tends to be expensive though.
