Good morning lovelies. We've arrived in Majorca. All good so far. I reckon I could get to like this! It's so peaceful sitting on our balcony watching the sea. Last night's meal was beautiful, four courses of beautifully presented food. I've decided to try new things so I had finely sliced octopus as a starter. It was so nice. The ship is full of Italians, some very stylish and some very loud. Last nights entertainment was like Eurovision without the voting. The vodka appears to be double measures regardless of what you want ( not complaining!)

I love octopus. Was that a starter or main course. Never seen it as a main course but you are on an Italian boat I suppose.
It was a stater. Very thinly sliced. Absolutely gorgeous. I was expecting a tentacle lobbed on my plate! Mr F who is not particularly adventurous had beef tartare as a starter. He loved it I was very proud of him.
The vodka went down nicely. Don't forget Fred, you can take the girl out of Liverpool....??.

Morning all, bit grey here this morning that’s me not the weather. lol Today I will be mostly sorting out the contents of a kitchen cupboard which Mr G. has decided to upcycle. It looks fine to me but as long as he paints it blue I’m not bothered, it will keep him out of mischief. Sounds as though you are having a great time @anjelikaferrett, not sure about the octopus though. Have a good day all.?

Not a very relaxing morning.
Sat trying to write my press report on last night's table tennis game with the home alarm permanently chirping ( think the back up batteries running down ) .
Can't turn it off at the fuse box as other things on the same circuit! Rosie really spooked so she's at her granny's getting all sorts of treats whilst I wait for the electrician.
Ah well !

Similarly the extracts from WSAG from @Armaghtoffee are brilliant and so nostalgic.
@peteblue desperately hope that your wife get some good news on the medical front.

When I'm on a cruise I tend to opt for things I wouldn't normally eat at home. I'm not usually disappointed tbh.

I was at that game AT. Sure we were 3-0 down in the first half, then battered them in the second. Gary Lineker smashed one against the bar from about 2 yards out. No kidding. Would have been the equalisertoo.
In a similar coincidence I was just reading about the game yesterday in a new book I got- ‘A City Divided’.
