Yes it did mate but i think that wine production in that region predates the Roman Empire by thousands of years. But I think we can thank the Romans for the expansion of wine production into Western Europe.

Good point. I had not considered that. Unfortunately I still think they would get in albeitwith a reduced majority. The Left needs to get its act together and stop the in fighting. So many of my friends hate Keir Starmer because he's too right wing for them. They seem to prefer a situation of far left permanent opposition than a centre left Government.
This is the problem, Labour seems more concerned with in-fighting than trying to get back in power. I find it hard to imagine a time when the Tories will be back out of government.
Two weeks sounds good to me mate. I'm sure you can leave your mound of gravel somewhere that still gives you full access. Shovelling that much gravel is backbreaking work. Although I fear I might as well be talking to Blue. (That's a reference to deaf ears by the way
)We have a lot of gravel roads here even main roads and they get the wagon to release the gravel slowly whilst going on the road ,they then use a fine clay to bind it as sand doesn't hold the moisture .
yes i wanted them to tip in a few places to make it easier but their tipper truck is out of commission .
