I hate this time of year, bloody seagulls having offspring and bloody dive bomb you when walking past. Had one just miss my head before because its sprog was on the pavement. Not cool that we have to just deal with it, flaming vermin they are flying rats.

Think I have what you had Anj. Very similar symptoms. You haven't been knocking around with any hairy arsed Scotsmen lately have you.

I do hope it isn't covid although there is a lot.of it about up in Scotland. Not only would it scupper my plans for the week but the very good friends I was with last night are travelling to Mauritius on Monday. It was one of those night when we hugged and said goodbye about 4 times. We must have been outside my hotel for about an hour chatting. There's no way they wouldn't have caught what I have. Woke up on the middle of the night with a saw throat, runny nose and a headache, and generally achey allover.

I didn't have anything concrete planned today apart from meeting Jazzy, so its curl up with my phone and hope I improve by tomorrow. Didn't even bring my book as I didn't expect to have time to read it.

Glad to hear you are feeling better, @anjelikaferrett. @jazzy Hope Rosie is enjoying the garden after having her stitches removed. We went over to Stamford for a pub lunch today and had a look round All Saints’ church while we waited for the bus home. Took a few pics. The brass commemorates wool merchant John Browne d.1442 and his wife Margery d. 1460.

Bad news I'm afraid everyone.

My meet with Fred has had to be cancelled as he's not well.

Fingers crossed it's just a cold and not COVID but being responsible Fred doesn't want to take the chance of infecting us , but more particularly my elderly mum.

So, I'm sure you'll all join me in wishing Fred a speedy and full recovery.

Was doing some e mail tiding up earlier, and came across several exchanges with Rob, the vicar who conducted Nik's funeral service last November. Was deleting them, until I saw the one with the final draft/copy of her funeral service. I have kept a hard copy, obvs, but just couldnt delete her online one.

I think many in this thread will understand, even though its pretty daft.

finally got a full set of armour and a shield and iron tools. Looking for diamonds now found a massive cave system to explore. Enjoying getting back into it, you gave me the nudge I needed.
