Another beautiful day down here. Need to get my hair cut before my trip next week so was planning to go into Falmouth and take a boat trip on the River Fal afterwards. But the timing isn't that good tbh. I'll end up having to get the last bus, which get's me back home around 6pm. I'm having a BBQ later on as the weather is due to turn tomorrow, and in my back the sun goes behind the trees around 7pm, so ideally I want to be cooking on the barbie around 5pm at the latest. So I've decided to go for a hair cut tomorrow instead and also take in the Jurassic World movie whilst I'm in Falmouth. Hopefully I'll still be able to take in a River cruise before the summer droves get down here. So today I'll pop down to Durgan to see Cal's mate Nicky, who is working down there today. Take a pasty and have lunch with her, and then pop to the beach for a swim on the way back.

In other news (just popped up on my Facebook memories) it is 34 years ago today that I started work at Birkenhead Land Registry. I can still remember that I wore a navy blue and white pleated skirt and a white blouse.This was after I had turned down an offer from the boss of the lab I was working in at Unilever to match my LR wages if I stayed (I'd turned down a few other offers from him but that"s a whole other story!) Birkenhead indirectly led me to meeting Mr F and moving to the north east. In a parallel universe there is the person who stayed at Unilever. I wonder what she's doing now?!

Good morning everybody. It is very warm today but has clouded over with some very angry looking grey clouds. Hope it doesn't rain. I'm off oit later to meet a friend for coffee and a catch up. Oldest child is visiting from Nottingham tomorrow for the weekend so that will be nice. He's moving in with his girlfriend next month and they are getting two kittens. Big commitment but she's lovely and they seem very well matched.

Glad Rosie is doing well @jazzy. Is she allowed to visit Granny or is that too exciting? Love the bathroom @Terrarian . @CahillsCornerFlag how are you feeling. Hope the symptoms are improving.

I'm really sad that it looks like Richy is going. Although he has been posting pics of him in his Everton kit on Instagram. I can't believe we might let him go for as little as £50m and to another Premier League club. Watch the media go from 'biggest diver in football ' to ' most fouled player in PL' if he signs for Chelsea or Spurs. Not that I'm cynical or anything.

Still no news on our missing neighbour. The house looks empty so I think she must be staying with friends somewhere.

Really warm today, we don't go too far when it's too hot, Daisy doesn't like walking in the heat, she'll sunbathe all day but walking she overheats so quickly, if we are going a bit further, I always take water, I have a collapsible bowl.

I'm going to have an indoor BBQ today lol got some maple smoked burgers so going to have cheeseburgers.

I had a think and because I am the founder member of the Imaginary Conspiracy Association , I think he had met someone whilst they worked away and he just took enough for the fare back there .I rest my case milord .

We need to co-ordinate our barbies T. I'm having mine at 5pm. Meatfest today. 2 burgers, 5 sausages, 2 bread rolls and nothing else apart from bbq sauce and hot chilli sauce. My new balanced diet?.
