Media attitude towards Everton.

Like it or not this is moyes true legacy bearing fruit, spent 11 seasons convincing the football world it was plucky little everton who were nothing without the mighty david.

Now all the 20/30 odd year old journalists who grew up spoon fed that line are all grown up and writing in complete sentences.

nah mate. More simple than that. The media is overrun with RS, who will get in digs at every opportunity. That’s it.

People don’t talk smack about things that they don’t care about.

Everton being a force doesn’t get clicks because that’s not the narrative that majority of people want to hear. It upsets the apple cart for the teams with the most supporters worldwide

what I find weird is the RS I know , most of whom actually go the game , have actually been pretty sound about it respecting his record and saying what a good appointment it is . It’s only the online weirdos , mostly from Bergen or Plymouth who’ve been to anfield less than me who seem so odd about it .
True...they are stiil terrible people though and I stress that to my RS supporting friends and relations. I have two RS nephews and have tried to get my brother to put them into care and divorce his wife who led them down that path.

Inappropriate Behaviour
No need for that lads.
Just one more mate and then we'll put a lid on it.
Mark Lawrenson reckons that Ancelloti will struggle as he isn't a builder ( in relation to team ) but a roofer . What ever that means .
As a red he really isn't that snidey . Just a classless oaf .
He meant roofie while thinking of some other incident.

It’s not just solely down to that,it’s down to piss poor management at board level under a pauper owner like Bill Kenwright in a millionaire’s business.

I can understand the opinions on Ancelotti joining Everton as it is a different job than his usual tenures. However, why have a go at Everton? Because we are currently a mid table club we have to get a mid table manager? Just unbelievable BS from the media who give no one credit for showing ambition. Why doesn’t anyone challenge the narrative and ask the question “should Everton just get a manager then that nobody’s heard of or stick to moyes so they can stay down the right end of the league?” Someone needs to ask Paul Merson the names of all them managers he knows who have built dynasty’s at football clubs, then gone back to a team languishing sixteenth and done it all again. Maybe give Alex Ferguson a bell or knock on Brian cloughs grave? Do me a favour....

Merson’s always been a disrespectful oaf, in Everton terms anyway.

Never forget his glaring contempt for us during his Arsenal days when, prior to taking a corner, he’d sit on the advertising boards sneering at the fans in the Gwladys Street.

Uneducated, drink-and-drug driving fool.
