Marseilles are champions' league regulars. They have considerably more cash than us.
Are you sure, Richard? I seem to recall hearing something about Marseilles being broke by English standards. Something to with a tiny pot of TV money and the club only being able to charge a tiny amount on the gate. I'm sure we're able to compete with them on a financial footing.

But I think I'm right about Marseilles. They don't have a huge financial clout. I doubt their wage bill, for example, is anything like the wage bill of a top English or Spanish club.
