Hoping we sign him, even though i've never really watched him play.
So, have Mercenary City replaced the barcodes and the hummers as our transfer stalkers? Not seen him play, just don't like his attitude, but in Moyes we trust.Reports in France suggest that Everton and Marseilles have both lodged official bids for Stephane M'Bia, with the Blues' €12m offer trumping that of l'OM, thought to be €9m.
The report in Foot Mercato indicates that Rennes are satisfied with the Everton offer but will sell the Cameroon international to the highest bidder and Manchester City and their bottomless purse are also reported to be interested.

Think the city links may just be to drive up the price. They have Kompany, De Jong, Elanio, Barry, Johnson and Ireland.
Rennes are clearly trying to start a bidding war, or conduct the transfer in public to drum up attention in the player, theres been far two many quotes from the manager for this not to be the case.
Im really intrested to see this guy, its unusal for Moyes to be this persistent about a player and go back in for him a year on, if alls to be beleived.
Its the one position in the team Moyes has refused to comprimise on since he came, how many years where we saying Carsley "needs to be replaced", even when he went Moyes didnt rush in for the sake of it and left it rather then making the wrong call. We got close once or twice with Davies and Sisoko. I think Moyes has studied this guy for a long long time and is 100% sure. Its even more intriugeing as i know the staff and Moyes personally more then once scouted Delph in the second half of last season. Moyes doesnt part with money easily so if he thinks hes worth 10 mill, im excited.
Not forgetting of course Moyes reportedly put a bid in for essien before he went to Lyon.
I dont blame him.
He's got 5 kids to feed.
