Makes me nervous but tbf he was thrown in the deep end against the rs and man u. Would need a run of games before judging.

I thought he had a very solid game. Still think the premier league could be a level above him but apart from giving away the free kick in the first, he didn't put a foot wrong in all fairness.

His 'error' was actually the best redemption for Vardy picking his pocket; if Albrighton doesn't fluke it into the top corner nobody really condemns it. Vidic and Terry have conceded hundreds of those. (Vidic's first few months in England were brutal in that sense)

He looked solid throughout, still playing his way into Premier League football, something all defenders have to do to gradually get up to speed. Lescott and Jagielka were the same.

Hopefully he can iron out the flaws and vindicate the faith Koeman has in him

He's very good in the air and hopefully will learn from playing and training with Jagielka. Could be the new Jagielka.

No idea whether this lad'll cut it or not at Everton but deserves a lot of credit for me, couple of horror shows last week and a rough start today but steadied himself, got stuck in and finished well. Good on him.

Indeed.

It just ridiculous to suggest he could fill Williams boots look what level he was playing at Pennington age, Stockport County. He has come in and done a job, gained invaluable experience at the highest level.

he must be decent he played well yesterday i thought gave away one foul which should off been saved regardless and every defender gives fouls away. i trust koeman on judging cbs. new contract must mean he see's something

If this lad was a Martinez buy from abroad he'd be getting chance after chance and every excuse under the sun made for him. As he's a lad out the academy he's had one bad game and the knives were out.
