Match Ticket Thread - Spares/Requests - FACE VALUE OR LESS ONLY!

Man City, something looks odd to me on that criteria but cant figure out what?

We have received an allocation of 2,982 tickets; priced as below:

Adult - £30
65+ - £23
Under-21 - £23
Under-18 - £18

We have also received 14 pairs of wheelchair bays.

Please note that with any concessionary ticket purchased proof of age will be required on entry into the stadium.

Tickets will go on sale in the following order of priority:
18/19 STH with 8 credits from this season from Monday 26 November at 8am
18/19 STH with 6 + credits from this season from Wednesday 28 November at 8am
*18/19 STH with 5+ credits from this season from Friday 30 November at 8am

*All tickets are subject to availability and games need to have been played to count towards a credit, from the commencement of the first advertised sale date.

I think as well as the sponsors wanting more tickets for the Derby, another major group are the supporters clubs. They always apply for the full allocation for Liverpool, whilst with a half 12 kick off at city there might not be as many looking to go. Hence the club receive their requests process that and then work out what's left for the rest of us before posting the criteria for us riff-raff ;)

Personally I think the way we allocate tickets nowadays is pretty dodgy. Obviously there will be some who go every game, I think there's probably around 700 or so of them, however I don't believe that there is as many people with the amount of credits that people say they do. I'm sure all of us have seen people at away games and bigger games who clearly don't fit in. Foreigners who clearly don't go to every away game, and even supporters of other teams. I remember there being people at Wembley in 2009 who were from Australia and that and they'd managed to get tickets. I knew people who got tickets, who hardly ever go to the game. I remember ringing up for the league game against City in the 2015/2016 season and being told they were sold out. Then looked at the website the next day and they were still available, rang up a got one. I've known other people with similar experiences. I'd also like to know how many are given to supporters clubs, in the past when there was less demand for tickets, nobody cared if the club gave tickets for Chelsea to Southern supporters clubs, or tickets for Swansea to Welsh fans, However I don't think it's very fair that some of goes to most games misses out on tickets because someone from the supporters clubs get one.

The thing is with these supporters clubs is that the organisers tend to have their members on the friends and family list so if for a example someone cant go, the organiser will sell the ticket along with the space on the coach, therefore he gets to fill his coach and the person who cant go gets the credit and consequently never misses out for tickets, when we were crap last season there are loads of tickets with travel available on twitter, less so this season, I think the club also allocate some of these supporters clubs tickets for various away games. if the club actually bothered their arses and put on more than 2 coaches for every away game it would eliminate the monopoly that is currently in place. The current system simply encourages people to buy tickets and sell them on if they cba going.

I was online bang on 8am for the cup game at Analfield last season and seats at the front where already not available. Ended up near the front only to be surprised by posh kopites sitting in front. Reason why you'd know them, was as the funerial dirge struck up and we were booing/chanting they turned around to demand we stop in their Essex accents because they couldn't hear it, followed by numerous complaints to the surrounding stewards as the game went on.
Hey but thats the nature of the game, probably in there on sponsor's tickets and not savvy enough to realise you keep a low profile in them situations. Most here may have sat in amongst away fans at some stage following Everton, but with their particular brand of self unaware mutants believing that they're the second coming, they think they have a divine right to behave any which-way they please.
Should have lashed them out for being:

1. Kopites in the away end

2. Turbo Essex Wide boys

3. Bad grasses

London away alway surprises me the amount of none Everton like fans end up in it end. I like to think you know a lot of faces from the aways and more and more lately I see a group who look totally out of place.

Seen a group of Chinese lads at Arsenal thinking you lads didn’t go 10+ aways last season.... how have you all ended up in here when spares are like gold dust? Something off

There’s no where near 700 who go every away.

I go every away, I’ve been invited to events by the club for people who do and I think the figure is less than 100 over a full season anyway.

It’s no where near 700.

Mate I run south wales branch we only get away tickets if we have enough credits at the moment we have two members who have enough credits but we will be offered loads for Cardiff away ( a Tuesday night ) by people on this forum because people will not want to travel with work etc.

the odd thing is that for the almost the same number of tickets, the criteria is stiffer for man city than the Derby isn't it?
There are no more credits to add on, yet City starts at 8 - which is maximum I think, derby started at 7.

Bournemouth didn’t count for the derby apparently due to the small allocation
