💳 Payment Method. Never pay via direct bank transfer. This offers zero buyer protection - once the money is sent, it cannot be reversed and your bank is unlikely to refund any losses. Always research your payment method before using it. PayPal, for example, offers meaningful buyer protection and is strongly recommended over a bank transfer.
🤝 Where possible, arrange to meet face to face - ideally at an Everton match - and exchange tickets in person.
🔍 Check Their Posting History Use the thread's search function to see if the seller has posted tickets before. If other members appear to have bought from them previously, reach out via private conversation to verify their experience.
👤 Check Their Forum Profile Review the seller's forum history. Have they been a member for a long time, or did they register recently? Do other members speak positively of them? A long-standing, active member with good feedback is a much safer bet.

I've sold my season tickets to guys on here a few times over the last couple of years to guys I don't know, and never had a problem receiving them back. Living on the East coast I always have to post them out, but as Cole says, if they do get lost / not returned then it only takes a phone call to the club to get them cancelled, so there is zero incentive for people to not send them back, especially if they've paid a deposit
