To help protect yourself, please read the following guidance carefully before buying or selling:

💳 Payment Method. Never pay via direct bank transfer. This offers zero buyer protection - once the money is sent, it cannot be reversed and your bank is unlikely to refund any losses. Always research your payment method before using it. PayPal, for example, offers meaningful buyer protection and is strongly recommended over a bank transfer.

🤝 Where possible, arrange to meet face to face - ideally at an Everton match - and exchange tickets in person.

🔍 Check Their Posting History Use the thread's search function to see if the seller has posted tickets before. If other members appear to have bought from them previously, reach out via private conversation to verify their experience.

👤 Check Their Forum Profile Review the seller's forum history. Have they been a member for a long time, or did they register recently? Do other members speak positively of them? A long-standing, active member with good feedback is a much safer bet.

Had the Brighton tickets been announced by the club as having been sold out?

A couple of years since we failed to do so. I'd have made the trip if I'd have known they were still available. Must keep my eyes on the club site in future.

Ticket bulletin said sold out
I was in a small section with only about 7/35 seats used in first half.
Fuller in the second half but only as people moved in from other busier parts.

it was definately sold out, think it went down to season ticket with 14 credits, the problem is people are just buying them with no intention of going just to keep their credits high, the number of spares getting punted for Brighton was a joke, Huddersfield was the same.
