TBF, Bale's "love heart" makes me puke too but nothing, I say nothing, compares with Owen Farrell's finger clasping every time he slots a penalty/try conversion for the England rugby team.

Mind you, that "rocking the baby" thing that Bebeto introduced is the worse ever (neverminding Crouch's robot dance or Gazza's dentist chair)

What's wrong with a manly handshake as they trot back to their half to await the oppositions kick off FFS

He just scored the winning goal against Wales ay the last second and he does that crap dance, what a plonker

For all the praise he's receiving, I fully expect Rooney to get the run around when England finally meet a decent side.

England are doing OK for a team with no real craft in midfield, but I can't see them coping against a slicker outfit than Wales and that awful Russian mob.

Back home from the England game at 9.50pm this evening, home sooner from watching England in France than getting back from Everton at GP.

Bizarre game of two halves, incredible atmosphere. A day for football fans, little policing needed, no drunken morons anywhere. England fans applauded the Welsh singing of their national anthem. Bet that didn't get a mention on Sky News. Fans chatting and mingling all day.

Ramsey ran the first half. England lost all the 50-50s, all the bouncing loose balls, slow and lacking passion in everything they did. Rooney played well but is slow. Kane can't run the channels. Sterling had a total mare. Lallana is slow and not good enough. Smalling and Cahill are a disaster waiting to happen, both spending ages stood there waiting for a ball to stop bouncing so that they could control it. Very poor from Hart for the goal. Dier is class.

England went from abject in the first half to blood and guts attacking in the second. Walker must have done 20+ all out sprints today, at times our only real outlet. Rooney was closed down by the Welsh far more quickly than the Russians did.

In the thick of the England fans behind the goal, total limbs at the end.

Oh, and while Sturridge played very well with the ball at his feet, he simply can't do any running without it. Tried a 10 yard 'sprint' towards the ball at one point and then gave up.

Wales aren't much better than Crystal Palace so it could be thought quite cute to nick a goal (oh how I laughed at Hart ... then remembered that we are supposed to be tendering £40m for him) then try and steal a result. Shame that the glassman had to spoil what would have been a very embarrassing result considering England's player resources.
As for beating Germany ....... I think I shall watch avidly when you lot come up against them later in the tournament. Smalling & Cahill? Jeez, they'll have a nose bleed by half time
they couldn't even score past poland mate. hate england all you want your entitled to but don't start thinking that as soon as we come up against a decent side we are gonna get smashed to pieces

last few tournaments we've taken sides all the way to pens where its a lottery so we don't get battered that often.

What a game, went through every emotion possible and what atmosphere created by both sets of fans. Hope Wales do the job against Russia and hope we meet again further down the line. Sturridge scoring in "injury" time ... how ironic.

Gareth Bale - "England have no passion" ... Watch the celebrations at the end after the second goal you absolute melt.

lol...very good mate

Hah, suck it Roy.
Hodgson with that "I'm totally out my depth" look
Oh dear England, unfortunately very predictable.
Hahahahaha.

Same old, same old.
Sack Hodgson at half time, get Bassett in.
Good job the game is played over 90 minutes, not 45. Just as Kane was taken off corners, he was taken off completely when he looked ineffective. We're dealing with Roy, not Roberto. I think there will be a few more red faces before this tournament is over. I think you'll find Roy has probably lost patience with Sterling and we'll have to endure more 'I'm a little tosspot' moments.
