He looked like he's been playing for years, even up against some of the best players in the world a lad plucked straight out of League One looked completely settled and composed.
 
Remember when he first signed watching him for the Under 18s in his first game, and he looked a step above immediately.

He's barely put a foot wrong since he's arrived - just seems incredibly mature in his game for his age. You have to credit our youth set-up though, because the likes of Galloway, Browning, Holgate, Davies and Barkley are coming through and all slot right in and look mentally prepared for it.

When he first played for our u21 s he looked good but got caught out in two high profile games , one against the RS, and gave goals away. ( The curse of YouTube highlights, they show the goals and if you're the defender caught out that's all people see, not the boring defensive tackles you make.) He was nowhere near PL level when he arrived, which highlights the point you make, our youth set-up did a tremendous job with him last season and the first five months of this. I think RK also deserves some credit as a coach , getting the best out of our young players on the training ground , preparing them and letting them take their chance.
