I find it kind of strange that Fellani hasn't been getting looks from monied squads. I think he'd be a better player on say Utd or Chelsea where his only job would be to break up the opposing teams attack.

This is half the problem and the reason why Moyes felt comfortable making the "derisory offer".

And all this week the posters on here have been longing for another big money club, like Arsenal or Chelsea or Spurs or City (there are plenty of thm in this country let alone clubs from abroad) to get involved and an auction for Fellaini in particlar to commence.

No further bid has there been.

Plus anyone looking at the reaction of United fans will know that they are distinctly underwhelmed and regard neither of our boys as what they like to call "marquee signings".

If it wasn't for Moyes, there would be no current ballyhoo about Baines and Fellaini leaving.

Because no other club above us in the table seems interested in signing them.

This all day long, I imagine Moyes back up position has always been he can return for Baines and Felli should the Thiago's, Fabregas types fall over which they have.

He probably does rate them at 40+ million, trouble is he has to convince others, utd have a proper management structure with real accountability, people saying "are you sure lad?" will be a right culture shock.

Thats it - everyone at United will have the same views as the fans - why should we pay over the odds for players at a mid-table team? They should be grateful we bring in the TV revenue because people want to watch us, nobody wants to watch them etc etc

Reason why we will and are selling is because we have too. Every season we have to sell. Our budget is 0. We already need to recoup the 6m spent and more to pay the banks. Pisses me off some of the **** you read on here

Martinez needs to come out and say they won't leave but he can't you can tell he knows bk wants them to be sold to pay off the banks. A proper club would say they arnt going end off. To be honest the fact Fellani hasn't requested a transfer yet, kinda shows how bad he rates Moyes.

Whether that's because he doesn't like him (he used to play him out of position a lot), or because Fellani feels like Moyes is coming to him as a "panic buy".

Either way, if this was any other manager or CL team, then Fellani would've been out the door the day the bid came in.
