Player Valuation: £8m
After reading his latest interview along with his previous recent ones, I'm 100% convinced that he wants to sell Fellaini.

He keeps referring to valuations, meeting them and having to think once the valuation is met.

It's basically saying pay the valuation and he's yours. It's see through.

He obviously has a replacement lined up and is desperate to land him. My personal opinion of course.

He keeps getting asked the questions at press conferences.

It would look like he had something to hide if he said nothing.

I don't think he wants to sell, because he's said he doesn't want to sell.

If he didn't want to sell he wouldn't keep referring to valuations. He would just reject the sale out right.

Personally I think the replacement lined up he favours over having Fellaini in the team.

I don't blame him. He's a new manager inheriting another manager's squad. He's been given about 12p to strengthen, so if the only way he's going to get real money is with a sale, then I can see why he'd welcome a good bid for Felli.

They keep asking him about the valuations!

McCarthy is like Martinez' version of Dickson Etuhu, the player everyone said Moyes would return to Preston for, but never did, and everyone kept linking him with us for the first 2 years of Moyes reign.

I just can't see it happening.

Basically all of this boils down to if you believe Martinez is telling the truth, or if you believe the propaganda spin machines operating as the national media. Plus people have seen Everton flog people in the past so are almost automatically programmed to assume the worst and that the player is going.

I hope he's got a top top player in mind. Someone we haven't been linked with! Someone who will blow the fans away. Sort of like when we landed kanchelskis. You had to pinch yourself

I don't mind him saying that Fellaini's got a price. Better than lying and saying he's not for sale. Clearly If we got something in the high 20s as an offer then Martinez would want to take it and strengthen the squad as a whole.

Every player has his price and Martinez would look like a plank if he said otherwise. He says, "They're not for sale," Uncle Bill goes behind his back and he looks like an idiot. He's repeated ad nauseum that the bid was insufficient and that the club does not need to sell. I believe him. If that was coming from Kenwright's oily gob, I'd be of a different opinion, of course.

well I know it's just based on your hunch,
but hey if he wants to sell, he's our manager now and if we're going to give him a chance we're gonna have to trust his judgement

felli's been here what 5 years ??? we've still won nowt so if it's his time to move on then let it be, only for a good price of course

I'm in no way having a go at felli though coz I think he's a cracking player and would love him to stay but if our manager thinks we can do better without, then let's see if he's right ...
