It was a good season. I enjoyed it, I think it showed promsie and earned him a dud year. He gets next year or at leats half of it.

I've been consistent in that position.

But you know, we only came 5th. I was having a go at people calling it excellenet as soon as the season finished. It was fun, but it's a point to build from not build to.
promsie ??? excellenet ??? you're supposed to be a pedant FFS

Roberto's got a lot to answer for today chums

7 points more than the ginger biffs best

... who managed the last 16 in the EL that season, too
Ha Ha Ha.

You actually want that boring jUdas nobhead back...and this is the replacement you've been working to install again to get Martinez out?

Jesus wept. It's so tragic it's actually quite funny in a weird sort of way.

Here's another equation for you go have some fun with:

Safety reached in the PL + board unwilling to kneejerk = you lose.

LOL.

not really dave, as i've said before, all I want is Everton success, and not 31 points in 29 league games.

you are going a bit loopy here unfortunately.

Everton stay up = orly relieved = everyone relieved

4+2=/=8 though

So thats not baiting? Or someone basically trolling is all fine and good? Because saying 'scare mongerers will have a lot to answer for' when the team is still in relegation distance and being getting destroyed whilst Nero filddles away is fine? Thats absolutely ridiculous.
I don't want to ban you as GOT prides itself on robust debate but you will have to stay within the confines of what's acceptable or I will have no choice but to remove you.

Imho, with Martinez, we'll be in the top seven comfortably next season, without distracting dreams of European glory, and maybe with a cheeky run in a domestic cup with less workload instead. He's not going to be gone before next season either way, unless there's some serious [Poor language removed] up in these last few games. If I'm wrong then i'll join in in calling him a delusional c**t, and begging Billic to come save us, and pretend i knew it would happen all along. We might know it's going that way if we lose to QPR at the weekend. Until then... keep the faith, and stay off his back at the games, that sh*t helps nobody. COYB.

not at all, hence ginger biff.

I was very vocal about wanting him gone.

Just establishing proper context.

You are mad with me for the 4+2=8 thing arent you hahaha

serious question: is the football this season ANY better than ANYTHING the 'ginger bell' had done with us?

Like what? Do you think the board or Martinez gives a toss about what we say on here or any fans anywhere.

It's all good having differences of opinion but it means diddly squat to the club as they will make a decision (or not) by looking at many factors.
I'm not arguing I'm agreeing with that. Break it gently to the plotters here though.

the record points haul argument is bollox because it's where you finish that counts, not how many points you get, that said, a fifth place finish in his first season is a fkn good start, great start in fact

the point of him having won a trophy elsewhere matters not a jot because it wasn't won with us, walter smith won loads of trophies but it meant jack sh!t when he managed us

I'm still in the roberto in camp but I'm looking for vast changes and improvements next season, vast

Even in a sh1t season like this Moyes could not have gotten performances in our other EL games the way we have this season.

The signs are there that we are a team capable of clicking again very quickly.

But almost every player has said that there is no emphasis on defending in training. Its not even considered. Baines even said as much lately.
I've seen lots of comments that we focus on the opponests weaknesses rather than our own but not that we don't train defensively.

Admittedly not convinced we practice our corner routines, either taking them or defending them which unfortunately have often merged into one this season.
