Tbh I very much doubt he thought the defending was up to standard. But what point in calling them all ******* in public? I know lots of manager do it but not convinced it ever turns out well, on the contrary it is usually a classic tell that the manager has lost the dressing room.
Much prefer for my manager to tell them some cold, hard truths in the privacy of the training ground.
So thats not baiting? Or someone basically trolling is all fine and good? Because saying 'scare mongerers will have a lot to answer for' when the team is still in relegation distance and being getting destroyed whilst Nero filddles away is fine? Thats absolutely ridiculous.
It was a good season. I enjoyed it, I think it showed promsie and earned him a dud year. He gets next year or at leats half of it.
I've been consistent in that position.
But you know, we only came 5th. I was having a go at people calling it excellenet as soon as the season finished. It was fun, but it's a point to build from not build to.

Its probably more true than not , I could not honestly see any other manager picking Alcaraz except deluded roberto and for that reason he is out.
Players dont look like they have faith , I dont read anything about them coming out saying they believe in the tactics or the manager.
It doesnt really bother me we are out of Europe because almost every other team left in the comp are better than us and we are playing horrible.
What bothers me is how shiddy and hopelessly pathetic we looked as a team and especially defending.

Point totals depend on the quality of the league lets be honest.
The top 8 knocked up hugh points totals last year cos there was gulf in class between them and the bottom 12 that there isn't often in the prem.
Finishing 4th with less points is better. It doesn't mean your worse if you get less points but finish in the same position relative to other sides, it just means the league is more competitive.
