I've voted 'in' in all but one poll - Stoke - including tonight because while we were poor, you're right to say that happens in Europe and I thought we were a lot better at home to Kyiv and away to Newcastle.

HOWEVER, you keep chastising people for not being of the same opinion as you with a ridiculous amount of vigour and defending the worst performances of the last five or so years and it's grating with some posters.

why only him? that's like saying he can put any back 5 out there he likes, if they play badly i'm going to blame him. there are so so many people to blame for this season. he's made mountains of mistakes this season, but nobody was complaining after the summer transfer business - the main reason being that that important defensive diamond of howard, jagielka, distin and barry were all brilliant last season. they've barely played 1 good game all season - i mean he can't see into the future. he simply couldn't have prepared for all that to happen - he can't take all the blame.

he should have dropped howard earlier in the season, should never have brought him back. barry shouldn't have played anywhere near as much games. jagielka should have been dropped and possibly stripped of the captaincy somewhere along the line, but that's a very big call to make and if you look at the possible captains and centre back replacements in the squad - is there really many alternatives?

should have got another striker in the summer for me - but like last season, i'll judge what he does in the summer window before judging the jan one. if he gets us relegated he deserves the chop, obviously - but that won't happen. start off next season poorly and then it's probably time to part ways. he's shown enough promise for a young manager so far to still be given the benefit of the doubt. needs to drop howard now though, we're leaking goals for fun again, we've literally reverted back to where we were at the start of the season.

I was after the shambolic preseason.

Can I put an appeal out please?

The 388 people who voted after the game on Sunday in favour of keeping Martinez, can you show yourselves please? Or have you gone the other way this time?

Unreal this knee jerking....90 minutes of football has people making a massive decision like keeping or releasing a manager.

That's exceptional knee jerking even for this place.

Just seen the goals again and the defending is desperate I still think who ever is in charge next season has got a major rebuilding
job to do

It's knee jerking for sure mate. But we really shouldn't have lost like we did today.

Do you prefer knee jerkers or plotters? Who would you rather go for a pint with?

Whatever mate

You're clearly on a wind up and it's thusly impossible for me to take anything you say on this matter seriously

You've over played your hand this past week or so and it's glaringly obvious now
You cover your own disloyalty by saying I'm a wind up.

Brilliant. Take a bow.

No, he just likes getting a rise out of people mate

It must make him feel superior in some way

Each to their own like

Literally no one I speak to off here in "real life" takes a thing he says seriously these days. It's a shame really, because he used to be a valued poster on here, but hey ho
lol
