You're kidding? I loved Dunc as a player, but I don't think he's got much more than two cracked marbles rolling around in his head.
This is desperate!
Bet you could say something similar about Simeone in his playing days.

At half time we had 45 minutes to make it happen. We didn't.

Martinez looked out of ideas on the sideline.

That is a disastrous scoreline. Very very close to the end of my patience with manager tbh. It feels like our season has been bookended with these two defensive shambles (6-3 at home to Chelsea and this result). We are too porous at back and the flair has dried up. I think we need a more balanced approach and I'm not sure we're going to get it from that coaching team.

He's looked out of ideas all season, mate. That's the problem.

The one glimmer of hope has died and now is the real test for Kenwright. Dave and his mad "pick your side of the argument and stick with it forever" agenda aside, very few fans will be defending Roberto. Whereas the masses are beyond pissed off now. The players too, I bet.

Alcaraz upfront/right wing for the last 10 minutes, if that isn't a clear warning sign that Martinez is taking us all for a ride then I don't know what is!

Can't help but feel this nobhead is taking us for a ride. Put all his eggs in one basket and went for the Europa League title to cement his own reputation and a glamour move to a bigger and more massive club.

FA Cup with Wigan
5th place, record points total and a confident, attacking playing style which had so many in admiration.
Europa League win.

Regardless of how badly this prem term has been, thats what his CV would say and would put him on the next managerial level. So i can't help but feel that the little tit is taking us as a club for his own personal ride. He has defo for me risked the clubs premier league status to go for the Europa League for his own gain.

As soon as he mentioned about securing safety in the league and THEN reviewing what/when/how it all went wrong in the league, rather than addressing it after the first few games when it was obvious something wasn't quite right; thats when i started to sway towards getting him out.

He has not only risked the clubs Premier league status and future but every forward step we have taken over the last decade to get where we currently are, for one competition.

Martinez IN > Martinez OUT > Martinez IN > Martinez OUT...

Ha Ha Ha Ha.

How can this stuff be taken seriously?

Everton beaten 6-4 on aggregate, Inter beaten 5-2 on aggregate, Besiktas beaten 5-2 on aggregate, Villarreal beaten 5-2 on aggregate. That's what happens in Europe.

Crack on.

Only Martinez can take responsibility for our shambolic defending. the most embarrassing Everton team I've seen play, littered with errors.

why only him? that's like saying he can put any back 5 out there he likes, if they play badly i'm going to blame him. there are so so many people to blame for this season. he's made mountains of mistakes this season, but nobody was complaining after the summer transfer business - the main reason being that that important defensive diamond of howard, jagielka, distin and barry were all brilliant last season. they've barely played 1 good game all season - i mean he can't see into the future. he simply couldn't have prepared for all that to happen - he can't take all the blame.

he should have dropped howard earlier in the season, should never have brought him back. barry shouldn't have played anywhere near as much games. jagielka should have been dropped and possibly stripped of the captaincy somewhere along the line, but that's a very big call to make and if you look at the possible captains and centre back replacements in the squad - is there really many alternatives?

should have got another striker in the summer for me - but like last season, i'll judge what he does in the summer window before judging the jan one. if he gets us relegated he deserves the chop, obviously - but that won't happen. start off next season poorly and then it's probably time to part ways. he's shown enough promise for a young manager so far to still be given the benefit of the doubt. needs to drop howard now though, we're leaking goals for fun again, we've literally reverted back to where we were at the start of the season.
