Id love to blame the fume meter for me still not wanting him here any longer but i just keep saying the same thing everytime, ever since the back end of last season ive had my doubts about him long term

He has this incredible (or should i say phenomenal as he prefers) knack of going on a brief run of good form once a season, did it last year with us during march winning about 9 in a row, did it this year going 6 unbeaten i think, he did it numerous times with wigan at the end of the season were they would magically find a few wins out of nowhere and then fails to deceive for the rest of the season.

Its clear to see now more than ever this is the position we should have had last season, last season was just the most unlikely mesh of 2 managers systems that at the time complimented each other perfectly, it took the defensive mindset, strong willed fast tempo of a moyes system and integrated in to a possession based, more risky philosphy on football and just somehow worked but as its been said before by a fair few this is a martinez team through and through nothing about this team anymore has any moyes influence even though most the side is still moyes signings its just a different mentality and to a degree a naivety or whats needed against certain teams.

I personally would still like to see him gone before the summer window, unfortunately it won't happen so i just pray this pre season isn't as much of a joke as the last one, regardless of the world cup it was poorly setup and i don't think RM had any sort of plan until near enough all his TV work was complete and just have to hope and pray he spends wisely as its 100% a make or break transfer window imo.
