Haha, no argument from me really, was just putting it out there.

Would i want Hughes here? Not really, certainly not instead of Martinez at the moment but i posted those stats to show he can't be that bad of a manager.

And to see what excuses people could come up with for why he is actually crap despite having a better win record than Martinez :D
He hasn't got a better record than Martinez. Martinez as an Everton manager is only bettered on win % by Kendall and Catterick.

Using this theory then as Hughes has never managed Everton it's only fair to discount it. This then makes his record look even worse.

Point is stats can be twisted to give any outcome you want.

To be honest now Klopp is available there really is no reason to continue with Fartinez, the man with less substance than a wistful guff

I think its quite obvious that when Mark Hughes replaces Martinez next October he will go on to have a win percentage far superior to Martinez.

And will do so with a far more effective style of football.

Martinez got the best win % in Swansea's history (50%); the best PL win rate in one season at Everton and the third all told at Everton (44%); Wigan it dropped to below 3% but got them a trophy.

It's not too shabby a record really, is it?

But then Swansea were in the championship. What I am saying is the win stats are rubbish and the only way you could compare is like for like as in managing the same team, playing the same opposition and conditions.

I'd take note of say England manager stats but not club managers.

Sack Martinez because we've had a crap season and gonna finish mid-table after having top 4 aspirations.

Hire Klopp after he leaves Dortmund following a crap season and gonna finish mid-table after having top 4 aspirations.

hahahahahahaha

I genuinely dont know which is crazier, people thinking we could get Klopp or you saying you wouldn't have him over Martinez!

Not saying I wouldn't. Klopp is very obviously a good manager who's had one bad season.

Yet, people who'd have Klopp here tomorrow are writing Martinez off after one bad season.

That's the point I was trying to make.
