Hmmm it wasn't a total Moyes team. New first team players were McCarthy and Barry in midfield with Delafeau in reserve and a break through season for Barkley and Lukaku up top. It was only really Moyes' back four.

The spine of the midfield was McCarthy and Barry, Lukaku up front. He played Naismith in his proper position, he brought in young Gerard and used him wisely. It was a 3rd of his team and he blended them wisely.

even @Eric Djemba-Djemba who hates howard acknowledge he wasn't really at fault and I love how everyone used to hate ossie but now there's other scapegoats people are all for him
