Oh and @GrandOldTeam can you reset the poll please?

I'm not even sure which way I'll vote to be honest but I want to see what it ends up as now. Hope Swansea bum us hard on Saturday to energise the plotters back into play, this thread can run with some luck.

The fact it doesn't have a Cheese on Toast option should be reason enough to reset and redesign. Sickening standards around here these days.

What did the media the fans and others in the game say last season?

Was there no plan B then? Was there slow witted in-game decision making then?

Last season Plan A worked, then the teams in our league worked us out this season and Bobby had nothing in the play-book except to keep doing plan A until that infamous night at GP. Teams are not "parasites" because they work other teams out, it,s up to Bobby to be smarter then the oppo which he has failed at this season when tested.

I seem to recall others may remember better that during the Moyes reign a meeting was called with the manager and players (before a match in London) when things were very bad. Bill stepped into the the room and warned the players that Moyes was here to stay for the long term in order to knock down the flames and buy some time. One wonders if something similar has occurred very recently with the this manager and squad in order to to buy Bill some time as he assess the situation on the end run of this season. It may account for the recent remarks by Bobby that everyone is on notice and his " I.m not stubborn" remarks this week. I'm not sure if those exec pressure tactics work anymore as a threat in a $5b-$8b industry in which players can now upsticks and play anywhere given the money sloshing around in the game.

It,s down to the fans now, if Bill feels that the fans cannot buy into the manager for the long run then he may decide to make a change or let Bobby go to another post that could become available in the summer. Whatever happens you have to wonder if the club want to go through a very challenging summer in the transfer market and then come out on the other side for a new season knowing that the manager will be under immense pressure from the first kick of the new season.

I know right. When I joined I thought it was standard for every poll to have a cheese on toast option.

Danny removed it.
I was fuming at the time, but he was right to do so. People had to climb down off the fence to vote.

You better not hope that, hey boy

If you do, I shall steadfastly refuse to sit up half the night trying to be "first" on your jarg previews next season :p

Not sure whether going to the game makes people more or less a blue.
By chance or circumstance, some simply can't make it.

Yes.

I rarely missed home or away when I lived in London in the 80s.

But I only got over about five times during my ten years living in Los Angeles.

Did that make me any less of a Blue?

Of course not.

I was over in Ireland. at the weekend so I missed only my third home game of the season v Saints.

But all during that game I was fidgety, sitting in Donegal with no internet connection and a jarg radio reception.

And that is how I define how Blue a chap is.

You go the game if you can.

If you can't, for whatever reason be it financial or domicile or illness, but can't sit still and are distant with your wife or family during the time the game is being played then you are a True Blue, my son ;)
