There is not a manager in football history who hasnt made a dud transfer. Well, actually John Carver hasnt.
Of that, around £12m or so lost
Over 11 years. Not too shabby imo.

You've just snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.Correct.
Moyes had a terrible record with bringing in £1/2M chances, none of which paid off. He must have cost the club about £15M with the tripe he brought in in that bracket.
Not at all - he was amazing in that regard in fact. As I always said, he was an appalling team manager in my view, but he'd be one of the worlds' best DoF's. His eye for talent at reasonable prices is almost unsurpassed in world football.
That's a real shame.Wouldnt disagree. Even though I would struggle to name all the managers in the PL, so my world knowledge is pretty rubbish. There are many sticks available to beat him with, buying and selling footballers is not one of them.
That's a real shame.
I think he wants to beat him with sticks mate. What is?

Wright was hopeless!Richard Wright????
Is that John Heitinga, our player of the year, on a flop list????????
We didnt lose much on Bily or Koldrup and Beattie, nothing money.
That we can't blame Moyes on his biz dealings, would have liked another stick, like hahaWhat is?
He signed trash. Full stop.We made the money back on Kroldrup and a fair chunk from Bily, got years out of Heitinga (including one player of the year season). Wright and Beattie were duds, and even with Beattie we only made a loss of £2m ultimately. Of that, around £12m or so lost; hardly £30m, even if you wanted to be silly and include wages.
He was very good at the £5M-£10M range, yeah. Below and above those values - not so.You've just snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
Moyes was A* with transfers Dave, and you know it.
The point being made was that even Moyes had his weak spot in the transfer market...and it's right too...and not just with those named players.
