I can't wait to read what @davek makes of this.

Him being the chief Robertonian round these parts and Naisy being his least liked payer and all.

:)

Dave, Dave......oi, Dave......whatcha make of that, pal

Mike Walker was horrific mate. Worst ever for us.

With one saving grace, Groucho.

He was in charge on Wimbledon Day.......and as I have posted on this forum many times, that was the greatest Everton occasion ever for me.

With Mike at the helm.

The Walter Smith era was just meh squared for me.

It was like we were stranded in the Sargosso Sea.

Five centre backs lining out against Derby County circa 1999......

Scotish cup once, league cup twice, Scotish Premier League 3 times, they are his honours, all won under Walter Smith.

He has payed for Kilmarnock. Rangers and Everton. Which brings up the question if anyone thinks it is anything other than understandable he names Walter Smith as the best manager he has played under, who would they expect him to say?

Odd.

For me the league titles, FA cups and the European cup winners cup trump dodging relegation

I thought it was Ladbrokes ?

Wow - neither said Martinez.

With all the stuff about him being a nice guy, I'd have thought he'd be mentioned.

Maybe the players don't like him after all, or they were giving an honest answer.

Steven Naismith owes his current career to the run he had at Rangers under Smith to be fair to him

A lot of people who played for Smith at Rangers remain very loyal and appreciative to him

We only had that situation v Wimbledon because of him.

That's like seeing someone set someone's house on fire then congratulating them for putting it out properly.
