I think that's not far short of the truth. This squad has a lot of pace and can be spectacular when the gears mesh, but we lack guile. Every team needs a couple of players in the squad at least.

That's a big task for the summer.

I think you're right in that we do need a 'chance creater' or 'door unlocker' as I like to call them. Osman is one of our only truly attack minded centre mids, and Barkley of course.

We could just do with a really boss one.

It's tiresome dealing with your crowd, and now that we're out of the woods and facing a fairly soft landing into the summer I cant really see the need to counter anything by you or the others. Osman appeared in every league game last season, when we did well.

He's been missing for most of this season, and our form has slumped.

Do you think there could there be a link?

PS Pienaar has been missing too!
 
Nice to see people on here have reached their own little comfort zone..ie,just about safe from relegation,this year!!!
We start all over again next year.
With Martinez in charge I assume anything above 10 th place can be touted as progress:oops:
 
Osman was crap last season. He wasn't behind us being good. We had players that were actually playing well and Martinez was actually being a football manager.
 
I do regret posting for bobby out now. I was totally devo'd by thursday an reached breaking point. but the manager needs this summer and first few months of next season before the guillotine is actually rolled out..... team showed great 'character' indeed to get a result yesterday!
