Not unless and until we exit the Europa.

I am now convinced we will not go down so I see little point in sacking him this season unless there is a top class replacement lined up and available to start right away.

I am enjoying the ride in Europe and I think we have a decent shout of going a long way there so I will cut him some slack there.

I can no longer watch the crab ball, ten passes along the back line against the likes of Baggies and Leicester then back to the goalkeeper crap.

I didn't like it when Barcelona were playing it and I sure don't like it when our motley collection are trying to play it.

I don't care if he brings in Xavi, Messi and Iniesta....tiki taki is not my cup of tea and I don't want it.

So yes.....let's see this season out and think of a new man by August.

Unless Bobby changes......which is what I would really like as I do like the bloke.

Usually i'm right with you on your posts mate but here I disagree.

I LOVED last season. I just missed out on really taking in the 80's and the side we were, so to see my (our) Everton playing with the swagger that we had last season, keeping the ball, switching it from CB to CB to give the opposition moving - like a game of chess - was fascinating to watch.

Even early on in the game today I was enjoying it, seeing Everton boss possession. What's frustrating is that for me that was a semi decent performance against a team who came with no other game plan than to stop us deploying ours. It comes with being successful as we were last season.

I get far more frustrated with Howard doing what he did today. With Lukaku missing and playing like he did today.

It's small details but if Baines stops the crosses, or Howard doesnt flap, if Lukaku slots those chances, then we are talking about a very professional performance against a very negative Leicester side.

For the rest of our time under Martinez team's are going to come and sit deep at Goodison. He needs transfer windows to bring in more suited players, granted, but he also needs these players accumulating experience of what it's like to play against these teams and force a result.

Which for me, we would have done had it not been for some abysmal goalkeeping/finishing from our talisman striker. Final point - I am a big Lukaku fan but if I see miss one more chance in the six yard box I am going to need sectioning. Chelsea, young boys, Leicester - all games where he has missed some absolute shockers in which 2 of those games it's cost us points.

Martinez in.

Outstanding post that mate.

Says it all.

Garry Monk has impressed me but no-one out there really blows me away like Pochitino did last season.
Agree over Monk, doing a good job
Pochitino I do like as a manager

All gambles in some respects, and if RM goes that is the game we will have to play

Sums it up nicely :-)

no point canning him now, better wait till end of the season see who is available. We need scrape 40 points and try keep our best players, I think this will be a big ask

Martinez should go when we get knocked out the Europa. It's the one thing that's saved us this season.

Ultimately though, the league is our bread and butter and despite the players we have, he is failing time and again. He's not inexperienced in the PL. That's not an excuse. His refusal to change is costing us and that is inexcusable.

Teams we haven't beaten at home this season: Stoke, West Brom, Leicester, Hull, Crystal Palace.
Not good enough.

I hear what you're saying mate, but I think there has to be a reason.
Not sure he's really changed them, rather it's just not working.
Just give it some time really. I'm not ready to give up on him.
Unless of course we continue to struggle and actually get in real danger.
Roberto impressed the hell out of me last season, so I'm willing to give him more time.
I can understand why many are frustrated, and I am as well.
Even with what appeared to be a really good window, some key players have regressed.
Still though I am willing to press on him...unless of course the unthinkable happens.
We all want the same thing for our club but have different views on who can lead us.
Apart from the arsenal and villa games we have been dire on the whole.
We just cannot win games and fans since november have been saying don't worry we have hull or west brom coming up we will be ok.
We are running out of teams we should be beating and going into games riddled in fear which stems from the manager.
We are everton and with the greatest squad we have ever had in the premier league its disgraceful how we are playing.
The common theme are the tactics and systems we are playing and to me martinez either can't see it or won't

In the past Rom has gotten stick for his touch and holdup play which has been fine recently especially his touch. However where has his shooting boots gone. He used to slot every chance he got.

Mine spelled injuries...I'm not sure what yours spells. Perhaps I should've highlighted the first letter of each sentence.
