Not yet. Not while we are still in the Europa and are unlikely to go down (but only because there are worse teams below).

If we start next season with performances showing the same ineptitude as today's it will only be a matter of time.

Playing at a crablike pace and letting the bottom team in the division have possession, living dangerously at the back and hoping to hit them on the counter, all in a bid to save energy because the players aren't fit enough. This lethargy filters through to the players resulting in performances such as the ones produced by Howard and Lukaku today. It is not the Everton way.

Not good enough, not by a long shot.

Think at the very least he deserves the chance to start next season with the club and see how our early form is. We need to go out in the summer and strengthen properly and actually give a toss about pre season.

That in itself just shows how far we've fallen so quickly.

Shocking to be even talking like that at this time of year with the squad of players we currently have.

The one thing I dislike about Roberto is that he continues to believe in Howard as the No 1 goalkeeper at the Club, and hasn't done anything to change it. He must rate Robles else he wouldn't have brought him with him, so why not give him an extended chance?
All told for me this seasons poor showings have been built on individual errors. Today was Howard's turn (again) like it was at Chelsea, and he was at fault IMHO for Young Boys goal the other night. He is so indecisive between catching and punching and seems to do the opposite if what's required. His starting position is poor and the movement of his feet isn't good enough. I hate to single out a player and I try hard not to, but Howard definitely needs a prolonged spell on the bench.
