Problem now is we're all still living in hope of Europa league success ... Don't think much point at moment getting rid of roberto but if we get knocked out of Europa league with another shocker performance in next round he will under serious pressure and that aspect is very worrying... So frustrating at moment !!!

Not unless and until we exit the Europa.

I am now convinced we will not go down so I see little point in sacking him this season unless there is a top class replacement lined up and available to start right away.

I am enjoying the ride in Europe and I think we have a decent shout of going a long way there so I will cut him some slack there.

I can no longer watch the crab ball, ten passes along the back line against the likes of Baggies and Leicester then back to the goalkeeper crap.

I didn't like it when Barcelona were playing it and I sure don't like it when our motley collection are trying to play it.

I don't care if he brings in Xavi, Messi and Iniesta....tiki taki is not my cup of tea and I don't want it.

So yes.....let's see this season out and think of a new man by August.

Unless Bobby changes......which is what I would really like as I do like the bloke.

With you 100% mate, well said.

Thats no excuse for the dire stuff this year.
If he did so well last year why change his tactics and systems this year.
This squad should be nowhere near the relegation zone.
Exactly - There has to be a reason.

We haven't played with a creative left sided midfielder all season. Last year we used Osman and Pienaar in that position or had Kev and Del on the wings.

This year we haven't played with an Osman/Pienaar or 2 wingers. He doesn't trust the players he signed or the ones he has available.

McGeady was a free and hasn't worked and Atsu was a loan that hasn't worked. He's going to Naismith because he gets goals and works hard but all the rest of the time is a [Poor language removed] liability.

Yes you can blame him for those signings but Atsu especially has the smell of a desperation signing all over him. Did Bill simply say no more money is being spent after we spent more than expected on Rom. It looks likely at this point. Even the bollocks regarding the Henen transfer indicates that.

Without a doubt, because he's without a clue.

Every manager we go for is a gamble, as sadly we can not compete for the top winning managers.
We have choices who we go for though
1. The Tony Pullis/Mark Hughes type managers
2. Young progressive managers

Both are flawed, and guess it is down to what people want from supporting your Club

If you want the stability of Prem Football, but just be a team that makes the numbers up - Option 1
If you want the approach of trying to improve the style of football and aiming to become something close to the Mid 80's side - Option 2

Option 1 is the safe bet, as option 2 does come with a big gamble attached - That is it can all go horribly wrong

I just find him a strange man to figure out. I am wondering if he likes to carry himself across as a very intelligent and intellectual individual. He claims he looks into every aspect in such great detail. ."He won't eat before matches as he wants the blood to
Tbf, Robles did well, yes. But it's not as if we left Courtois out.

Howard is decent as is Robles.
With all due respect with what howard has done on previous seasons e has been utter garbage this season while Robles started dodgy looked solid in his final run of games. Was insane bringing howard back into first team.

The thing is, he has made a rod for his own back overthe goalkeeping thing.

If Joel had been in goal today and even if he had been at fault for the goals, no one would be slating Bobby for the dropped points as we would have had the man in firm between the sticks.

Instead we would be castigating the profligate Lukaku for his spurned chances and no one would have blamed Bobby for that.

It is just a freakin' mess.

I hear what you're saying mate, but I think there has to be a reason.
Not sure he's really changed them, rather it's just not working.
Just give it some time really. I'm not ready to give up on him.
Unless of course we continue to struggle and actually get in real danger.
Roberto impressed the hell out of me last season, so I'm willing to give him more time.
I can understand why many are frustrated, and I am as well.
Even with what appeared to be a really good window, some key players have regressed.
Still though I am willing to press on him...unless of course the unthinkable happens.

It wasn't insane - he wasn't dropped due to performance but due to injury. What would be insane is not dropping him now.
