But he's done better. It's the hope that we'll see that side of this team again which is why you keep him through a bad season.

Like if he had never finished above 12th in the prem, fair enough, he just isn't up for it. But last year we were 5th so he can do it. I'm not willing to write that year off as the exception rather than this until he gets a third.

For me last season everything went right and he deserves credit for that but this season he is lost.
The sign of a good strong manager is when thing are not going well you find the problem and sort it.
Like when he took wigan down he either can't identify whats wrong or he see's it and just leaves it.
I don't think he is the man for our future

Exactly 50:50 at the minute, wow! 102 votes all. If we weren't in Europe I think it could have already been the end for Roberto. Long term is he the right man... I'm going to say yes.

Another season in the league like this one and I'd be convinced we're punching below our weight and it was time to say cheerio to Roberto.

I wouldn't give him a whole season. Rather until Christmas as that would give the new guy time to come in and assess the squad and move out who he doesn't fancy in January when we could get top money for them.

With all due respect with what howard has done on previous seasons e has been utter garbage this season while Robles started dodgy looked solid in his final run of games. Was insane bringing howard back into first team.

I said when Howard was reinstated that it was the wrong move by Martinez. However, as much as I like to see Robles do well, he's not significantly better than Howard.

That means nothing. He's the senior GK.

And sticking by him all season. Even Distin was given far longer than most of the fans. Look he can't complain. Age catches up with everyone.

Both are flawed, and guess it is down to what people want from supporting your Club

If you want the stability of Prem Football, but just be a team that makes the numbers up - Option 1
If you want the approach of trying to improve the style of football and aiming to become something close to the Mid 80's side - Option 2

Option 1 is the safe bet, as option 2 does come with a big gamble attached - That is it can all go horribly wrong

Garry Monk has impressed me but no-one out there really blows me away like Pochitino did last season.

Shouldn't have dropped Robles for Howard, simple as. We should have binned Tim about 3 years earlier, so hopefully we do so in the Summer.

Howard's made a couple of mistakes of late but overall he is definitely a better goalkeeper than Robles. People forget he's been out a while. It's overlooked because we lost at the death but I thought Howard's performance against Chelsea was first class!

His last season was dire stuff. Long ball to Fellaini, a bit like Utd now.

However around 2007 we where really good.

It's certainly an indictment having that relegation on his CV.
