Yeah, well done.

I'm talking about how its well documented how clubs struggle in general to make a go of juggling PL and Euro commitments. Or am and most other people wrong on that?

didnt that BBC article the other day suggest that idea was over exaggerated?

Yesterday's result was nowt to do with Europe.

We played a lot better yesterday than we did against Hull, Baggies and Stoke and none of those three listless performances came immediately after a European game.

That turned out to be a cracking afternoon's football in the end and there were a good few positives to be taken from it.

A lot more entertaining than most recent home games.

If Howard had been left on the bench where he belongs or if Lukaku had not been so profligate in front of goal we would have won comfortably.

I am still a Robertonian but seriously, he needs to have a good look at himself because he has caused a major goalkeeping crisis at the club with the totally bonkers decision to immediately re-instate a goalkeeper who had been having a torrid time between the sticks prior to his timely injury.

Did Stoke spend £20m+? Did Newcastle??
But it is not outside the realm of possibility that we finish higher than either of these teams. At the very least I expect to be nipping at their heels. Given we are suffering second season syndrome, and the weather hasn't been great, I suggest we've done pretty well

What exactly is "second season syndrome"?

Is there pie chart somewhere which points to this phenomenon as being in some way tangible?

Look forward to his next news conference. still getting asked the orchestrated soft questions and letting him waffle from pages from a book he bought on positive mental attitudes. Just want someone to go for him in an interview and see if we can get a reaction.

Haha another fail

You're all over the place again. He fleeced £40m off selling felliani anichbe be and jelavic and you're moaning about net spend hahaha ok

He spent £34m clear in the summer and took us backwards.

Those the facts jack, stick it in ye pipe and smoke it
He's been here two seasons and 4 transfer windows.

I know it's a little bit more complex for you to do the adding and subtracting, but try and give it a go.

It's not £20M.

If it is £20M net spend though I take it all back. We should be winning the PL and the EL.

*shakes head*

Yet you believe rodgers has made a mess of spending £125m in the summer. Even though they recouped £70m of that from Suarez sale ?

Doesnt matter if you sell to buy or just spend some billionaires money, you still make commitments to spend £x of money on a player. If you buy them and dont get the best of them then questions will be asked.
