Yeah, when we played in 2007/8 and lost to Fiorentina we only finished 5th and got to the league cup semis.
Yeah, well done.

I'm talking about how its well documented how clubs struggle in general to make a go of juggling PL and Euro commitments. Or am and most other people wrong on that?

2007/2008 the season when we went out to fiorentina. Our record after European games is as follows:
Derby 0 everton 2
Chelsea 1 everton 1
Everton 3 Fulham 0
Man United 2 everton 1
Man City 0 everton 2
Sunderland 0 everton 1
Fulham 1 everton 0

4 wins, 2 lost, 1 draw.

Only 1 game at home as well.

It's a myth

Not only that our EX was the manager and per Dave a hoof ball merchant.

10 BOB?

He spent 28m on a striker, shall I list the number of Premiership teams that have 28m ENGLISH POUND strikers?

Rooney - Utd
Aguero - City
Costa - Chelsea
Lukaku - Everton
Net spend of £15M over two seasons.

Yeah, I'm sure Ancelotti would be cleaning up with that fortune at his disposal.

So net spend counts in this argument??

Tend to loose track as you change your opinion based on the argument.

Net spend is irrelevant, he sold who wanted to sell and bought who he wanted to buy.

That's called football

I still genuinely believe that Everton can finish the season, if not ahead of Stoke, then at least nipping on their heels. So it's not really as 'doom and gloom' as some of the polls and pie charts are making out. And yes, before people jump on my back, I am aware that Venn diagrams are threatening to soon be employed...

You lose track because you cant keep up with anything more complex than 'Let's sack Martinez lids'.

Some ambition there! if not ahead of Stoke nipping at their heels, gordon bennett.

You're all over the place again. He fleeced £40m off selling felliani anichbe be and jelavic and you're moaning about net spend hahaha ok

He spent £34m clear in the summer and took us backwards.
