Martinez has always been for the long term, and while last season's success perhaps fooled us into getting impatient, it would be such a mistake to dismiss the long term plan at the first hiccup.

It is a half decent read, but the quotes ive thrown up are simpy the not out of conext ones that he believes, which next to our current situation i found was interesting.

TBH not even doing the martinez out argument with it, simply it seems right this minute he is true to his word despite current results of it.

None of the quotes i put up mate are out of conext ones, plenty of them in the article as well.

Issue is then dead? Our manager had a top 5 squad we gave him circa 35 million to spend and he delivered a relegation scrap. Even if that ends in safety (hopefully, but by no means certain yet) the 'issue' is not dead. There is nothing Martinez can do between now and the end of the season except for winning the Europa that would get rid of the 'issue' over whether he is up to the job or not. Relegation has nothing to do with it.

There's no need for that. He doesn't deserve it. He needs to start planning for season three. A lot of tough calls need to be made now on the squad he wants.

but when the dead weight need to beat us and we arent winning games then it is time to worry. Only good thing about QPR right now is that it is always charlie austin that is scoring for them! Must be very easy to nulify them in a game.

You've persisted with these doomed predictions for about 6 weeks or more and not once have we fallen into the bottom 3 or even come close, every few days there seems to be another "what if.....", why not just let it play out instead of imagining future scenarios were we're in the bottom 3?
